Hollow Earth is the result of a macro experiment with fluids. This photo was taken on Day 64 of the Daily Abstract Challenge. After about 3 hours of shooting and a few more hours of sorting and editing, I was left in awe in front of this image which I then claimed as my best photograph taken yet. Hollow Earth stimulates my imagination more than any other photo I’ve taken before. It feels incredible to me how a minuscule mix of fluids (real size is only a few millimeters) can contain such a detailed scene and make for such otherworldly visuals.
This photograph is the foundation of Ōra, a metaphoric world that places us in perspective alongside the abstract dimension that constantly surrounds us.
