Ōra is a metaphor for the idea that everything that surrounds us has an abstract character to it, that abstraction is everywhere all the time, that we’ve always felt it and unconsciously noticed it but that we might never have truly acknowledged it.

I make this universe come to life using fluid dynamics. I mix liquids of various chemical structures and capture them with a macro lens mounted on my camera. Each video and photo from the Ōra collection is real and unaltered by generative AI.
