With Nightmare, I’m further refining a macro photography style that I will continue to explore in the coming months and years. It is the result of a unique combination of liquids captured at five times magnification, meaning the entirety of the world depicted in this image is, in reality, only a few millimeters in size. Similarly to Hollow Earth and Space Patch, Nightmare offers a glimpse into an infinite imaginary world that I carefully build piece by piece in my home studio. A world whose full potential has yet to be unleashed. Watch behind the scenes below.
